- Note that MS-DOS is itself merely a poor port of CP/M, an 8-bit OS.

- Geez, this is hilarious! "OS/2 is destined to be the most important OS of all
- time". "Netscape won't be a threat to us for very long". "You need 4Mb to
- multitask". "640K should be enough for everybody". "Ten million Windows users
- will upgrade to Windows 95 immediately, at the very least". "Ten years is how
- far I can see ahead" (sure: He can see around him the ideas he will copy in ten
- years' time like BASIC and multitasking, only the Internet took him a few
- decades extra).
-
- Great visions this mr. Gates has. And a real savvy for making them come true.

- AFAIK the 615 project is still only a rumour, and its credibility varies with
- whoever repeats it this month. Its existence is so questionable that not only
- has IBM not confirmed it, they haven't even denied it yet!

- Mutatis mutandi this sounds more likely. Look what happened with their Amiga
- BASIC.
